Downeast Designers Guild Program in Ellsworth

On Wednesday, May 3 at 9:30 am, the Downeast Designers Guild will be hosting a presentation by nationally accredited flower show judge Carol Smith at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth. Smith will demonstrate techniques for creating underwater designs — a type of design in which plant material submerged in water creates or contributes to the overall design. Sponsored by the Ellsworth Garden Club and involving members from across Hancock and Penobscot counties, the Designers Guild offers monthly programs and workshops that are open to the public regardless of any garden club affiliation.
