Downeast Scenic Railroad Pumpkin Train in Ellsworth

The whole family is invited to ride the Downeast Scenic Railroad Pumpkin Train on Saturday and Sunday, Oct 17 and 18. Trains will depart at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. During the ride, the train will stop at a pumpkin patch and the kids can pick out a pumpkin and then decorate it during the train ride with free stickers. The train will depart from the boarding platform at 245 Main St. in Ellsworth. Adult tickets are $15 and all children’s tickets (age 12 and under) are $8. Reservations are suggested and can be made by going to www.downeastscenicrail.org or calling (866) 449-RAIL (7245).
