The whole family is invited to the Downeast Scenic Railroad Pumpkin Train on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 15 and 16, departing at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. For this special 90-minute train trip, each child will receive a free pumpkin and pumpkin decorating stickers with the purchase of a child’s train ticket.
During the ride, the train will stop at a pumpkin patch and kids can pick out a pumpkin and then decorate it during the Pumpkin Train ride with free stickers.
The train departs from the boarding platform at 245 Main St. in Ellsworth. Adult tickets are $15 and all children’s tickets (age 12 and under) are $8.
