Join East Coast Greenway Alliance, Frenchman Bay Conservancy and the Sunrise Trail Coalition for a day on the snowy trail in celebration of Great Maine Outdoor Weekend on Saturday, Feb 13, from 10 to noon. Meet at the Downeast Sunrise Trail parking lot on Railroad Siding Road, off Washington Junction Road, in Ellsworth. Refreshments will follow around a bonfire. The event is free and open to the public.
If you are in need of skis, snowshoes or poles, we are working with Cadillac Mountain Sports to coordinate rentals. Gear rentals for the day are $15 and must be reserved by Feb. 9. Contact Eileen at 422-2328 or [email protected] for gear reservation information and to register for the event.
