The Buck Memorial Library continues its “Early History of the Area” series with a program titled “Through the Years, Early History of Area Clubs.” All are invited to come to the library on Wednesday, Oct 19, at 1 pm to visit and share memories. Past and present members of the Bucksport Garden Club and October Club will present their yearbooks and other items to the library’s history collection.

The early history of the following clubs will be featured on the library’s “Memory Board”: The October Club, the Bucksport Garden Club, the Lions Club, the Civic Club and the Verona Community Club.
