The next meeting of the Ellsworth Historical Society will be Wednesday October 12th at 7pm in the Ellsworth City Hall Auditorium upstairs. University of Maine history professor, Allan Whitmore, is the guest speaker and his topic is “The Ellsworth Outrage: Father John Bapst, October 14, 1854.”  This meeting is free and open to the public.
