“End Alzheimers” Walk in Hulls Cove

Birch Bay Village is hosting a local Walk to End Alzheimers on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 to noon, rain or shine. Everyone is invited. Pre-registration is not required. Welcome and sign-in is from 10 to 10:30 at Birch Bay Village, located at 25 Village Inn Road in Hulls Cove. The walk will be around Birch Bay’s scenic quarter-mile track, with water and rest stations available. All walkers will receive an Alzheimer’s Association wristband and a Certificate of Participation as thank you gifts for helping to raise awareness, plus have the chance to win fabulous raffle prizes. Walkers are also encouraged to wear purple to show their support. Donations will be accepted for the regional Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Bangor on Saturday, Oct. 24.
