The Union River Center for Innovation (URCI) is right next door to Ellsworth Harbor Park & Marina and is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The center has served as a business incubator and provides affordable co-workspaces and private office rental in addition to a cadre of entrepreneurial support services and resources.
As part of its anniversary celebration, the center and has invited some area makers to share their wares at an Evening Market on the Lawn at four of the summer concerts In addition to the Evening Market, URCI staff will be on hand to answer questions about the center and provide tours.
- July 18 Crossroads Band
- July 25 Gordon Thomas Ward
- August 1 The Loveseats
- August 15 Lasers in the Jungle
On each of these dates, the market will open at 4:30 and remain open until 7:30. All the concerts begin at 6:00 pm.
So far, confirmed makers attending on varying evenings include Pug Nuts Gelato, Coyote Carved, Kitchen Rabbit Hole, Vixen Hollow Arts, Woods and Waters Co., Tom’s Pottery, Downeast Woodbank Woodwares, and Franklin Street Farm. Pug Nuts will be there for all four markets to make sure you have a nice dessert after your Salsa Shack supper.
