Firearms Safety Course for Hunters at Blue Hill Public Library

The Blue Hill Public Library will be hosting the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife’s firearms safety course for hunters. The course meets two times: on Thursday, Sept 22, from 6 to 9 pm and Saturday, Oct 1, from 9 to 3:30 pm.  Both class meetings are required for anyone applying for a hunting license. Participants must be at least 10 years of age and all minors will be required to have a signed parental consent form, which is available at the first session. The course is free.  Registration is required and can be done through the library’s events calendar at www.bhpl.net, or by calling the library at 374-5515.
