First DEFY Little League Challenger Division Game

The DEFY Little League Challenger Division hoped for 14 players and families for our inaugural season – we were thrilled to have 21!!

First game is this Saturday, September 26, at 11:00a.m. at DeMeyer Field (first field on the left)! If anyone missed the Open Field Day event and they still want to play, we’ll continue to register players throughout our mini-season.

The Challenger Division is a separate division of Little League that provides playing opportunity for children with developmental and physical challenges.

Do you or someone you know have a child with special needs or physical disabilities? If so, this program is for you! We are accepting children aged 4-18 years old (or 22 if still in school) to join our fun and relaxed little League Challenger Division. Each child will have the opportunity to learn about the sport of baseball in a positive and secure environment and play with others at a level they are comfortable with. This a no obligation program and is free of charge to all participants. Being a part of the Challenger Division can help your child build confidence, maintain flexibility and provide a social opportunity for children and their parents. Players will have a one on one buddy on the field that will help them build not only baseball skills but a friendship skills as well.
