The First Friday Coffeehouse at the Northeast Harbor Library reopens on Jan 8, which is actually the second Friday. The evening begins with an hour of open mic at 7 pm, hosted by Blue Gene. All performing artists are welcome; simply sign in on the clipboard to participate. Each person usually has about 10 minutes at the mic. This event is free of charge, but donations are always welcome. There will be refreshments on sale throughout the program, in support of the MDES Greenhouse Project.
