The Hancock County Soil & Water Conservation District invites you to join Forest Defenders Forestry Field Day this Friday, July 18th, from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Dead River Trailhead on Don Fish Trail in Orland. This free educational event features field presentations on invasive plants in your woods, wildlands stewardship, timberland management for pollinators and birds, and a guided tour of the scenic new Picnic Trail.  Lunch will be provided, but please bring bug spray and a camp chair.
