Fort Knox grounds are open all year round from 9am till about sunset (varies in winter). The Friends of Fort Knox is proud to announce they will open the Fort and restrooms to the public on Friday, May 8th at 9am.
Due to Covid-19, they are not able to open the Observatory, Gift Shop, or Visitor/Education Center until June 1st at the earliest and subject to change. All events planned for May have been cancelled and those during the remainder of the season may change as the situation with Covid-19 requires.
