Spring is here. The weather is warming up. It’s important to stay active and healthy. The MDI YMCA is hosting a FREE 1 MILE challenge each week of April.
Week 1: April 13-19
Week 2: April 20-26
Week 3: April 27-May 3
Participants are challenged to run or walk ONE MILE at anytime during the week. You can run/walk the mile as many times as they want during the week to improve their time. Road, trail, treadmill, yard, track. No downhill runs. Participants should submit their Name, Age, male/female, and their Best Mile Time for the week to [email protected] by 7pm on each Sunday at the end of the week.
If you would like to highlight your participation with a selfie send it along in your email to Jenn. Please indicate in your email (in writing) that the MDI YMCA has permission to post your picture. OR you can simply tag the MDI YMCA in your own social media post!
Results will be posted and you’ll receive a pretty certificate. Challenge yourself to improve each week! Challenge your friends!
Everyone should run/walk alone and practice CDC, state of Maine and social distancing guidelines during this challenge.
