The Ellsworth Moose Lodge is hosting a free cookout for first responders on Saturday,
September 11th at noon, right at the Moose Lodge on Foster Street in Ellsworth. At the event,
Lodge members will present 400 Tommy Moose stuffed animals to the Ellsworth Fire
Department, Ellsworth P.D., Maine State Police Troop J, and the Hancock County Sheriff’s
Office. The plush animals are used to comfort children in stressful situations. For more
