The Ellsworth Garden Club is hosting a hands-on gardening workshop at the Donald Little Memorial Park on Thursday, August 6, from 9 to 11 am. The club has owned and maintained the park since 1953, and its mixed plantings of shrubs, perennials and annuals provide a good venue for discovering hardy plants for local landscapes, potential plants for and approaches to garden design as well as things such as pest and disease management.
