Georges River Trout Unlimited will host a Downeast Chapter meeting on Wednesday, May 15, at Pat’s Pizza in Ellsworth. The meeting will begin at 5 pm with an informal gathering. The featured presentation begins at 7. Shri Verrill, a Downeast Salmon Federation expert in salt marsh and estuarine ecology, will give a presentation on the habitat restoration of a smelt brook in Sullivan. There will be a raffle directly following the speaker. Meetings are free and open to the public.
