Green Crabs Program in Brooksville

Join the Blue Hill Heritage Trust and Marine Ecology professor Dr. Brian Beal from the University of Maine to learn about the invasive European Green crab on Wed Aug 18 at 2 pm at the Ferry Landing in Brooksville. This educational event will focus on the history of how Green crabs arrived in Maine, how to identify and catch them, and the effects that they are having on the coastal ecosystem and local shellfish populations.  Space is limited- please call 374-5118.
