Grindstone Neck in Winter Harbor Talk in Steuben

The Grindstone Neck section of Winter Harbor was formed in 1889 by a group called “The Gouldsboro Land Improvement Company” with the idea of creating a summer colony much like that of Bar Harbor. Larry Smith, who has served as caretaker for many of these properties, will give a talk about the cottages on Thursday, Oct 12, at 7 pm at the Henry D. Moore Library in Steuben.
