The Community School of Mount Desert Island’s annual Harvest Festival is set for Saturday, Nov 18, at the school’s Somesville campus. From 10 to 4 pm, guests can enjoy kids crafts, wreath making, a campfire, harvest lunch, patisserie and live music. The festival is a great place to shop for gifts made by local artisans and a farmers market will include local produce and provisions. The event is a fundraiser for The Community School scholarship fund, and a community celebration of the harvest season. The Community School is located at 585 Sound Drive.
