The Acadia Disposal District is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste and Universal Waste Collection Day on Saturday, September 21, at the rear parking lot at MDI High School on Eagle Lake Road. Outer islands can participate from 9 to 10 a.m., with collection for the general public for MDI and other towns from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We’ve posted information on materials accepted and on applications on our Star 97.7 FB page.
