On Sunday, June 19, at 8:30 am join Jill Weber, botanist and co-author of “The Plants of Acadia National Park,” at the Corea Heath Preserve in Prospect Harbor. The Corea Heath Trail is a short 0.2-mile wheelchair-accessible trail surrounded by stunted trees and shrubs that leads to an observation platform with a 270-degree view of the heath. This field trip is being co-sponsored by the Frenchman Bay Conservancy. To get to the Corea Heath Preserve, turn right onto Route 195 (Corea Road) and proceed for 2.6 miles.
