Japanese Pottery Program at Blue Hill Public Library

Frederica Marshall will present a slide show and talk about Japanese pottery at the Blue Hill Public Library on Thursday, May 28, at 7. Marshall will focus on the pottery’s ancient history, how it is created, the philosophy of beauty, tradition and modern concepts. The talk is open to the public and there will be an opportunity following the presentation to meet and talk with the artist and view tea ceremony bowls and utensils.For more information, call 374-5515.
