Job Fair in Blue Hill

Community Compass and Eastern Maine Development Corp. (EMDC) will host a regional job fair on Wednesday, Oct 19, from 4-6 pm at George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill.

Both career skills training and job opportunities in the Blue Hill and Deer Isle-Stonington Peninsula region will be discussed. EMDC will describe “on-the-job” training programs (office assistant, plumbing, carpentry, boat building, nursing assistant, etc.). There also will be representatives from the University College of Ellsworth and regional adult ed training programs. Many regional employers will present job options, necessary skills and be available for individual questions.
