“Joining for Jina” Remembrance Walk in Lamoine

Family, friends and acquaintances of Jina Haslam and her family are invited to the 10th annual “Joining for Jina” remembrance walk at the Lamoine State Park on Saturday, June 20, at 7 pm. The procession will start at the Lamoine State Park parking lot, accompanied by police and fire department escort, and traverse a two-mile round trip to Lamoine Beach and back to the park. A brief stop will be made at the memorial site where Jina’s accident occurred and where flowers may be placed. A bonfire, complete with the fixings for s’mores, and time to socialize with old and new friends, will wrap up the event. For more information, contact Patti Haslam at [email protected].
