Island Heritage Trust is hosting a screening of a documentary on artist Joseph Fiore on Tuesday, Jan 26, at 7 pm at the Stonington Opera House. There will also be a discussion of Fiore’s work.
Fiore was part of a contingent of New York City artists who made their way to Maine in the 1950s. This revealing portrait shines new light on the painter who came into prominence teaching art at the pioneering Black Mountain College.
