Island Heritage Trust is hosting a “Kids in Nature” program on Tuesday, July 5, from 9 to 10:30 am at Scott’s Landing Preserve in Deer Isle. Birds with feathers and insects that fly will reveal their secret techniques for flight and life in many habitats. This program is for children in grades K-3. There is a $5 suggested donation.
