Come play in the woods, building and making discoveries along the way during a “Kids in Nature” program sponsored by Island Heritage Trust on Tuesday, July 19, from 9 to 10:30 am at Lily Pond Beach in Deer Isle. Simple forts will be created with sticks, leaves and other materials supplied by the natural world. Meet at at the Quaco Road entrance to Lily Pond Park. This program is for children in grades K-3 and there is a $5 suggested donation. For more information, call 348-2455.
