A “Kids in Nature” program sponsored by Island Heritage Trust is planned for Saturday, Aug 12 from 9 to 10 am. Simple forts will be created with sticks, leaves and other materials supplied by the natural world. Meet at at the Quaco Road entrance to Lily Pond Park. This program is for children in grades K-3 and there is a $5 suggested donation. For more information, call 348-2455.
