The forest floor and the tree canopy are a playground for squirrels, birds and much more. On Tuesday, Aug 9, from 9 to 10:30 am a “Kids in Nature” program sponsored by Island Heritage Trust will look closely for signs of all kinds of animal activity – large and small at Crockett Cove Woods in Stonington. This program is for children in grades K-3. There is $5 suggested donation. For more information, call 348-2455.
