Knots Program in Deer Isle

Join scientist and sailor Tom Kellogg for an introduction to practical knotting in a program called “Useful Knots for Island Life” on Wednesday, Aug 3, at 2 pm at the Island Heritage Trust in Deer Isle. Learn useful knots for boating and life on land: bowlines, hitches, bends and splicing. Materials will be provided. All ages are welcome. There is a $5 suggested donation.
