The Brooksville Historical Society is sponsoring its annual lobster dinner on Saturday, Aug 6, at 5:30 pm at the Community Center in South Brooksville. This dinner includes lobster with butter, coleslaw, chips, iced tea and lemonade and blueberry cake for dessert. The Little Island Oyster Co will be offering complimentary samples of its farm-raised oysters. Cheeseburger baskets also will be available. Tickets are $25 for the lobster dinner and $7 for the cheeseburger basket and will be sold in advance at the Brooksville town office, Snow’s Plumbing and Heating and at the Historical Society Museum on open days.
