“Local Yokels” Talk in Surry

The Surry Historical Society will present its annual “Local Yokels” illustrated talk on Monday, Aug 19, at 7 pm at Old Town Hall, 1217 Surry Road. Presenters will relate little-known and astounding stories about the uncommon characters (and endearing animals) that once upon a time walked (or stalked) Surry neighborhoods.
