Lunar Eclipse Viewing in Blue Hill

The Blue Hill Co-op and the Blue Hill Heritage Trust are co-hosting a viewing of this year’s lunar eclipse on the lawn in front of Blue Hill Mountain on Sunday, Sept 27. The event starts at 8:30 pm, before the eclipse starts, and goes until midnight so that die-hard astronomy fans can watch it in its (almost) entirety. The eclipse officially ends at 12:27 am. Hot cocoa, snacks and a telescope will be provided. Consider bringing blankets or lawn chairs, binoculars or telescopes. For more information, call 374-5118 or email [email protected].
