Friends in Action is hosting a “Lunch and Learn” panel discussion on fraud, theft, scams and other issues concerning seniors on Monday, June 15, from noon to 2 pm at Bryant E. Moore Community Center. The panel will include Ellsworth Police Chief Chris Coleman, Catherine Betz, vice president of compliance with Machias Savings Bank, and Tom Stewart of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Lunch will be provided. Pre-registration is suggested by calling 664-6016. This is a free event.
