Maine Book Arts in Blue Hill

The Blue Hill Public Library will present an exhibition “Midcoast Maine Book Arts: Recent Work,” in the library’s Howard Room Glass Cases, opening September 4 and running through December 28. The exhibition features the work of 18 book artists in a wide variety of media, structures, vocabularies, and philosophies that define the term “artist books.”  The public is invited to a reception at the library on Friday September 12, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The exhibition can be viewed during library hours, subject to the Howard Room meeting room schedule.
