Making Lanterns at Southwest Harbor Public Library

In preparation for a lantern walk, the Southwest Harbor Public Library invites all to come make lanterns on Thursday, Nov 19, between 3 and 5 pm. Supplies will be provided, but if you have a tall wide mouth jar, please bring it.
The lantern walk will take place on Friday, Nov 20, at 5 pm. Participants will meet at the High Road parking lot in Southwest Harbor and walk down Causeway Lane with lanterns lit. On the Causeway Bridge, Brittany Parker and Andrew Simon of the Barn Arts Collective will present a seasonal story. After the walk at 6 pm everyone is invited back to the library for light refreshments and singing. This is a fun family event and all are welcome.
