Making Lanterns at Southwest Harbor Public Library

In preparation for a lantern walk, the Southwest Harbor Public Library invites all to come make lanterns on Thursday, Nov 17, anytime between 3 and 5 pm. Supplies will be provided, but if you have a tall wide mouth jar, please bring it.  The lantern walk will take place on Friday, Nov 18, at 5 pm. Participants will meet at the High Road parking lot in Southwest Harbor and walk down Causeway Lane with lanterns lit. On the Causeway Bridge, there will be time for a seasonal story. After the walk, around 6:30 pm, everyone is invited back to the library for a simple meal of soup and bread.
