The Margaretta Days Festival is being held June 10 starting at 7 pm and June 11 all day long at the University of Maine at Machias. This festival celebrates the American Revolution Downeast, specifically the Battle of the Margaretta, the first naval battle of the American Revolution, the beginning of the U.S. Merchant Marines and the Battle of the Rim.
