On Saturday March 28th a tornado of high energy, blue collar, stand up comedy will touch down at The Grand in Ellsworth, Maine. Tickets for the 8 pm show are general admission and $20 per person.
Mount Desert Island native Jason “Krazy Jake” Hodgdon is making a name for himself on the national comedy scene. Hodgdon has spent the past three years touring all over New England and into Canada with his own comedy tour and as part of the Bob Marley Comedy Tour. At the start of 2015, Hodgdon bid farewell to his good friend Bob Marley’s tour in order to focus on his own rapidly growing tour. Krazy Jake’s high energy, upbeat, charismatic, and heavily Maine-influenced comedy style has made him a favorite among comedy fans throughout the Northeast. He has performed multiple times at many of New England’s premiere entertainment venues including Foxwoods Casino, The Wilbur Theater in Boston, Meadowbrook Pavilion in NH, Merrill Auditorium in Portland, and many more. Labeled by fellow comedians as one of the hardest working comics in the business, Krazy Jake was recently rewarded for his efforts and talents when he was voted by Maine comedy fans as the Portland Phoenix’s “Best Maine Comedian 2014”.
Along with being one of the fastest rising and most sought after stand up comics in the Northeast, Hodgdon is also in the national spotlight these days. He currently stars in the new hit TV show “Yankee Jungle” on the Animal Planet Network. Come see what New England Comedy Fans and people throughout the country are laughing and buzzing about.
