Medicinal Plants Program in Deer Isle

Join Brighid Doherty, herbalist and gardener, on a walk each second Saturday of the month, May-October at Scott’s Landing in Deer Isle. The next one is on July 11 at 10 am. You will learn to identify, prepare and use local medicinal plants for everyday health. All ages are welcome. There is a $5 suggested donation. For more information, call 348-2455. The trails may be wet or muddy. Walks will take place rain or shine.
