Everyone is invited to the Blue Hill Public Library for a creature feature movie matinee hosted by Circulation Coordinator Olivia Zubrowski on Saturday, March 15 at 1:30 p.m. Olivia will be showing Jack Arnold’s 1954 classic, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, about a dangerous half-human, half-fish creature lurking in the depths of the Amazon Rainforest. As we’re getting settled in, we’ll play a short “newsreel” of local historical clips of interest, preserved and made accessible by Northeast Historic Film. Popcorn, tea, and coffee will be offered.
