The Orland Historical Society will hold an Open House and Car Show on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 9 to 2 pm at 23 School House Rd. The museum has a special display for the summer featuring vintage toys such cars, trucks, construction vehicles, pedal cars, doll houses and dolls. The car show has will feature antique and classic cars, trucks, snowmobiles, tractors and old engines. Trophies will be awarded for 11 different classes of vehicles. Exhibitors in the car show will pay a $5 entry fee. Food is available as well as raffle tickets being sold for a $200 gift certificate and a garden bench.
