Mushroom expert David Porter will lead a mushroom walk at Shore Acres Preserve in Deer Isle on Thurs Sept 20 at 1 pm. See mushrooms found in different habitats and gain a clearer understanding of their role in the cycles of nature. The cost is $5 for Island Heritage Trust members and $10 for nonmembers.
