Next Step Domestic Violence Project is celebrating spring with its 2nd annual Spring Brunch and Chocolate Tasting. This event maintains the historical piece of our well known Chocolate Fest and Silent Auction by continuing the tradition of luscious, decadent chocolate and great auction items. There will be select auction items for bid, raffle prizes to be drawn, and all participants will enjoy a gourmet meal by Chef Alex Grant at Big Cats Catering. All net proceeds will help people impacted by domestic violence in Downeast Maine.
The Spring Brunch and Chocolate Tasting will be held on March 29, 2015; brunch will be served between 10:30am-12:30pm. The event is sponsored by Darlings Auto Mall and Darlings Chevrolet in Ellsworth and will benefit Next Step, a non-profit organization devoted to ending domestic violence through education and social change. Next Step serves Hancock and Washington Counties and offers a 24 hour hotline, court advocacy, support groups, emergency shelter and outreach.
