On Sun May 26 from noon to 4 pm, Painted Pepper Farm is hosting Open Creamery Day. There will be demonstrations, music and face painting all day. Dairy delights will be available for sale including yogurt, kefir, chèvre, cheesecake, gelato and fudge.
The schedule is as follows:
Noon — Open Creamery Day begins.
12:30 to 3 p.m. — Face painting, music and 4-H goat demonstrations.
1 to 2 p.m. — Gelato making demonstration and gelato samples.
3 to 3:45 p.m. — Goat walk and herding demo (if the goats cooperate!)
Directions to the farm: From Route 1 in Steuben, turn onto Dyers Bay Road. Travel three miles to Goods Point Road and turn left. They are 1/4 mile on the right, number 55. Look for Open Creamery Day signs.
