A new book discussion group, Passages Book Group, is meeting at the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center in Ellsworth on Wednesday, Jan 20. There are two groups, one in the morning from 10-11 and one in the evening from 5:30-6:30.
The initial book will be “Kitchen Table Wisdom: Stories that Heal” by Rachel Naomi Remen, MD. Books will be provided free of charge. The group is being facilitated by cancer survivor Lyn Wilson, who has 10 years of experience conducting book groups. Each session will be structured to promote casual, respectful and thoughtful discussions. Light snacks will be provided.
