The first annual Piggly Wiggly Cider Press and Pumpkin Festival will take place in the parking lot of the Bar Harbor Congregational Church, across from the Village Green on Saturday, Oct 24, from noon to 3 pm. The event includes a community pig roast, cider pressing and pumpkin decorating.
Anyone who would like to take some cider home is asked to bring a 5-pound bag of apples and a quart container. With only one press working, try to limit the amount of apples you bring.
