Plant medicine is people’s medicine and it grows right outside your door. Join Brighid Doherty, herbalist and gardener, on a walk each second Saturday of the month, May through October, at Scott’s Landing in Deer Isle. The next walk is on May 9 from 10 to 11:30am. You will learn to identify, prepare and use local medicinal plants for everyday health. All ages are welcome. There is a $5 suggested donation. For info call 348-2455. The trails may be wet or muddy. Walks will take place rain or shine.
