“Plate Tectonics, Earthquakes & Eruptions!” Program at Southwest Harbor Library

Stephen C. Clement, Ph.D., will give a talk titled “Plate Tectonics, Earthquakes and Eruptions!” at the Southwest Harbor Public Library on Tuesday, Sept 8, at 5:30 pm. Clement will give a brief look at the structure of the Earth, the movement of the plates and the resulting major earthquakes such as the ones that occurred in Indonesia, Japan, Chile and Nepal.
